I am using myUdutu to author a SCORM 1.2 module for launching in Moodle 1.9.5. All is going well except I'm trying to track progress through the module using the gradebook.
In myUdutu, I have set some of the pages to be 'scored' instead of 'self assessment'. I was expecting that each of these 'scored' pages, would post 1 point to moodle. In this way, when a user completes each of these 'scored' pages, the Moodle gradebook keeps track of their progress.
However while Moodle is reporting '0' for users accessing the module (indicating they've started/attempted the module), it doesn't seem to increment as the users visit the 'scored' pages.
Am I misinterpreting the functionality?
Is there another way to track users progress through a myUdutu SCORM module and have it reported in Moodle's gradebook?
Thanks, Richard.
Hi Richard.
This is not helpful, but I thought, I d let you know that you re not alone.
We are using udutu as well, and I haven't figured out, how to make moodle track
it yet...
Will keep an eye on your post and will let you know if I find out anything...

Hello Folks, I have been messing around with this issue for about a month. The way I got Udutu packages into moodle and gradebook, is via using the integrated SCORM module, not the Udutu module. Works fine. Also, Udutu default is SCORM 2004, which moodle does not like, so make sure you save as 1.2.
Also, upgrade to the newest stable version of Moodle, not hard all documentation is here on the site.
Hope this helps.

Bump.
Does anyone have experience with SCORM and moodle and measuring progress through the SCORM? In this case there are no questions/assessments in the SCORM module, just want to measure whether the student has been to each page in the module.

I seem to have worked this out at last. The problem was I wasn't setting the 'Grading method' in the moodle SCORM activity settings to 'Learning Objects'. Once I did this, Moodle then recorded a '1' in the gradebook once all screens in the SCORM module had been visited.
In myUdutu I set each screen to 'self assessed' - it didn't appear to work if the screen was set to 'scored'.
I understand Moodle records 1 point for each SCO completed, but I think myUduty only exports as a single SCO.
