I've noticed that, when you set an assignment to 'no grade', it shows up in the gradebook as max grade 100. It looks correct to students (-), but not in the category view to faculty. If you set it to a number (like 87), then set it back to no-grade, then it displays the 87. Seems like it should disappear (no submissions), or it should show a - or a 0 (with submission - or both cases). That's with a Moodle a few weeks old and a new assignment.
Note: Maximum grade seems to be listed wrong when you edit a grade item, too.
