Hi

I´m new with moodle but I have a really good Wordpress background and development in general.

I´m looking for info or tutorials about Themeing in Moodle and very important I want to know how can I list the course tutors in the Homepage of the Theme.

¿There is an specific function for this?

I really need help.

Thanks.

Hello Deryck.

>A couple of links I have found useful for theme development:
http://docs.moodle.org/en/Creating_a_custom_theme
http://docs.moodle.org/en/Make_your_own_theme
http://www.themeswiki.org/Customizing_Moodle

For a beginner one of the easiest ways to list the courses and teachers on the front page is probably to turn editing on and then edit the summary of the site - and list the information you want on the front page there (This will then display it on the front page).

Good luck,

Alex

Hi Deryk. Can't help you with theming in your course tutors I'm afraid as I don't know about theming but (similar to Alex) if you go to site admin>appearance>course managers and ensure that teachers is ticked then when you display your courses on the front page the appropriate teacher(s)for each course will be listed under them. Personally I dont do it as I find it uses up space but if you only have a certain number of courses with few teachers whom you want the students to recognise/know about/choose then this is a non-coding way to achieve what you want.
