Actually, what I have been reading doesn't really fit with the types of programs that you all have been talking about... they will still have to be paid for by those in the programs. This is not a "Free" program. We already have medicare for those who are on social security whether retired or disabled. Medicare is partially federally funded and funded by those who are working. States have programs for those on "Welfare" or very low income. I believe most of them are paid for actually with federal funds. The people I worry about are those who are working but don't make enough money to pay the rent, utilities, food, basic transportation and health insurance. They also make too much to qualify for the above mentioned programs. Even this federal insurance will have a cost. If they don't buy the insurance, they will be fined. There is something wrong with this picture... some lack of logic here.
