hi,
in footer i have a link to our logo. Its showing in firefox, but not in IE (showing only white box with little red cross in a corner).. any idea why..? I tried to change the format.. didnt work.. in general when something works in FF and not in MSIE, it means that there is a syntax error somewhere in your code. FF is more tolerant than MSIE and will usually try to display even erroneous code, whereas MSIE will not. im attachin g my footer to se if there is something wrong in the code i overlooked..
Thank you.
Hi Ivan,
I applied your html footer code in my local moodle version, The image and the link came up fine in IE as well as Mozilla. I tested the same in IE 8. Can you please tell me your IE version? The html file seems to be perfectly ok.
As per my understanding the logo image is not linked in the code, there is a separate link text taking to your home page.

Hi,
thank you for your help Joseph.. I actually found out what happened.. my collegue who sent me the logo told me, that he renamed the extension from spectre.png to spectre.jpg... Once i replaced the correct format logo with renamed one, it worked fine..
Im sorry that i bother you with such an issue, which in fact was our own fault..
Thank you.
