Put half the students in Group A, put the other half into Group B.

Make a Grouping AA containing Group A, and Grouping BB containing Group B.

For each activity, edit the activity, click "Show advanced" down the bottom and then assign it to either Grouping AA or Grouping BB.

Hi Dinesh,

Have you activated Groupings at a site-wide level as discussed in http://docs.moodle.org/en/Groupings#Enabling_the_use_of_groupings and set up some groupings for your course (through the Groups button in the Admin block of your course)? You'll need to do these things before you can allocate a resource (yes, works with resources as well) or activity to a Grouping.

Hope this helps,

Mark.

Note that earlier advice was to create groups A and B and then fold them into groupings AA and BB, respectively. Groups and groupings are two different things.

To control access for student b2, create yet another group and grouping.

hi martin

i create course as u says me.

I create a course physics in moodle of 4 weeks

then i create two groups A and B
group A contains a1 and a2 student
group B contains b1 and b2 student

i create a grouping AA which contains the group A
and another grouping BB which contains the group B

grouping AA and BB are restricted to access a perticular resource.
which is working well.

Now i want that a grouping member can access perticular resource at perticular date. After that date and before that date user can't access that perticular resource of course.
Is it possible in moodle.
If any other plugin is required then pls tell me.

thanks and best regards
