I think I am being spammed in moodle private messanger today. Some woman who wants to send me her pictures. Am I the only one? Do we have an abuse reporting system?
Might be the same woman as the one who wanted to send me her pictures too. I blocked her.
She didn't msg me - I'm obviously not important enough
She did not ask me for pictures. It is always amazing to me how many folk from the east sir me.
Did you ever stop to think that maybe this kind Moodler just really wants to share her pictures with you?
I DID stop to think, actually, and I thought for several minutes - it was the wording that swung it in the end, but I still felt bad ignoring her - and now you've mentioned it, I feel badder!

Don't feel guilty Mary. I am such an idiot I did PM her back and ask if she had a moodle problem. The answer was the same message I got initially so it is canned.
Initially I always think someone else has discovered that I am really special and then I look at my current picture and come back to reality
My decision tree is if I should first tell my significant other ... or send a message to Helen. My SO usually laughs, Helen is less forgiving. I think she blocks the user and deletes all their unread messages.
That might explain why not everyone receives the special spam message(s).
Best Chris

As Chris described, I have blocked the spammer's account (by setting their authentication method to 'No login') and have deleted all messages which hadn't yet been read.
