Humm, remember that the front page is a course. Just started playing around with SCORMs and I am not an expert. The front page is probably not the best place place for a SCORM package. My small experience says a SCORM seems to be an entire course topic(s). I am guessing it would be better to create a course for your SCORM and place a link to it from the front page (maybe something like the front page of Moodle.org with a big button in a topic).
