I am using Questionnaire for the first time to gather end of course survey information. What kind of reports, graphs, etc...will be generated from the data?

Thanks,

Larry

Ciao Larry
questionnaire gives you histograms about each question's answers. See attachment.
For open answer it provides the list of answers.
For rate question questionnaire provides the mean, over all the answers, for each item to rate.

The best way to find out about reports is to create a "dummy" questionnaire, preferably on a test site and to answer it several times, then you will see the responses output.

If you don't have your own test site you are welcome to use my own moodle test site. Log in as teacher1, password teacher1, go to the Questionnaire module Demo course, create or edit an existing questionnaire, or simply click on any existing questionnaire and view the results. On that site you can also log in as teacher2, student1 or student2. Passwords are the same as the log in name.

Hi,

When I download the answers of a Questionnaire, I only obtain the records of the students who participate, but it would be very useful to have in the same file the records of students who did not participate, with blank responses, for instance.

Is this possible?

We use the questionnaire for our end of semester evals.  We have it set to anonymous and the Q only reports those who have done the survey.  If faculty want to see who has taken the survey (but not their actual responses) they use the course activity log for the questionnaire.  Using the log will also show those who have not participated in the survey.  Hope this helps   ted
