Comparisons and advocacy

Hi there,

I am brand new to the world of Moodle but am researching various Online Learning solutions.

I am pretty sure that Moodle does these two;

-Allows up to 12 different "Weekly Lessons" That will include video files and 'homework' pdfs
-Allows students to register at any time with password only access

I am not so sure Moodle does this one;

-Each Weekly lesson will only be available 1 week at a time for the student. IE student starts first week of Sept. They have access to week one of the course, when week 2 start they have access to week 1 and week 2.
2nd users signs up week 3 of Sept and they get access only to week 1...

Any feedback if Moodle can do this .. even with some tweaking would be appreciated!
