Need help customizing flex theme pages

If this is not where I need to address these questions, please direct me to the correct area. Thanks.

Is there a way to display the course name at the top next to the image in flex pages?

Also, can you change the background color?

What file name would this be located under to make those changes?

Can we make changes like this using flex pages?

I love the new format. It is much better than the other formats in Moodle. I have noticed that when you use page menus as tabs at the top. If you have different items under that tab, when you click on the tab, you cannot click on the tab again to see the menu to select another item on the list. You have to click on another tab and select another item. Is there a fix to this issue?

Also, I noticed when you back up the course and restore, it does not restore Format Pages but restores everything else.

Is there a way to have the course open to a particular page each time the course is opened?

Vicki,

Since I do not use Flex Page, I cannot address your issue specific to that course format. For help with the Flex Page specifically, I would try posting to the course format forums:

http://moodle.org/mod/forum/view.php?id=47

One reason your posts may not be getting many responses is that people who read your posts don't know what you specifically mean.

For example, can you give us a screenshot of what you mean by "at the top next the the image"?

Which background color do you wish to change? The entire course? A block? A section? A screenshot here might help as well.

The files you want to alter to change the appearance of your Moodle installation are located at /moodle/theme/[yourselectedtheme] where [yourselectedtheme] = the name of the theme you have selected and are using.

Editing the appearance of your course is not any different in flex page format than any other.
