A company in Austin, TX is looking for a Moodle Product Manager. This is a 2 year contract with the possibility of going permanent. Currently, this company is remote due to COVID but the position will resume onsite when COVID slows back down. Details listed below:

E-Learning domain experience with Moodle applications specialization

·      Effective communications skills, including executive leadership

·      Is able to sell to leadership and gain buy-in for critical business needs

·      Build trust amongst stakeholders, leaders and peers

·      Ability to foster effective working relationships

·      Mission driven and passionate about empowering Learning

·      5 -8 years of Product Management Experience or Agile Product Ownership

·      Ability to define and write crisp requirements for engineering teams to build

·      History of driving requirements from ideation to release

·      Finding the right requirements

o   understanding stakeholder and user needs and translating those to requirements and a prioritized backlog

·     Driving innovation

o   Ability to formulate a product vision and fold that into a road map

o   Understanding emerging industry and technology trends and ability to fold them into the product roadmap

o   Extensive knowledge and familiarity with K12, Higher Ed, and continuing education industries

·      Iterative (agile / lean) mindset

o   Ability to define and execute Proof of Concepts and Minimally Viable Products (MVP)

o   History evolving Product Roadmap from MVP to the ultimate product vision

·      Proven track record of meeting commitments

·      Grasp of the business model for a product and using it to inform the product strategy and roadmap
