Lead Engineer – Learning Solutions is a position leading and problem-solving, creative, and entrepreneurial developers with fantastic communication skills to join our Precyse University teams. As Lead Engineer, you will be part of the team who develop content, games, and solutions for online healthcare education. You will be responsible for designing and implementing portals, web and mobile applications that may be used by hundreds of thousands of healthcare users. You will work and provide leadership to an agile delivery team. You will have an opportunity to collaborate on teams to implement new functionality and continued excellence on existing functionality as well as to get involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. This professional will have experience creating user-friendly enterprise applications from conception to production. Provides front-line technical and application support to colleagues and clients on a variety of issues as needed.

• Lead teams to successful design and develop web and mobile applications
• Review code and offer suggestions to developers on better methods and processes
• Provide guidance and assistance partners on integration and ETL processes.
• Develop and maintain MySQL and MongoDB databases
• Design databases and data interfaces with existing applications
• Actively participate in the design and architecture of high-performance, enterprise solutions
• Provides an example of the highest level of customer service to our colleagues and clients.
• Gathers necessary information to support and assist colleagues and clients with issue resolution.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Works with various company departments to ensure that colleague and client questions and issues are resolved quickly and accurately.
• Performs special projects upon request.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by management.

• 5+ years experience in web development, using HTML4/5, XML, jQuery/mobile, JSP, PHP, AJAX, Perl, CSS, DOM scripting (JavaScript)
• 10+ years experience with the software development cycle: product specification, design, implementation, QA, release, and maintenance.
• 5+ years experience of leading a team of developers
• Extensive experience with mySQL, t-SQL
• Experience with Java, JSON and interfacing applications with server side API
• A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for code quality that follows best practices
• A strong passion for learning and adapting to new technologies
• Working with peers in other groups to define software standards and explore new technologies.
• Proficiency with a C based language (Objective C, Java, C++) is preferable
• Experience with Moodle is highly preferable
• Experience with providing assistance and interact with customers to provide solutions
