  2. Established accounts with both PayPal and Authorize
  3. Affiliate system: Idev
  4. Currently using Virtuemart, which integrates with moodle to create accounts
  5. Located in Southern California, accepts telecommute (US only)

Job overview

  1. Ongoing maintenance contract
  2. Manage and update virtuemart and custom plugins
  3. Develop solutions and plugins to increase virtuemart functionality, for example:
    -- Show error messages when user incorrectly enters credit card info
    -- better track sales and income
    -- Display conditional alerts and messages in the cart (e.g. coupon codes for specific products)
    -- Upsells that change the training product delivered
    -- Restrict coupon codes to specific products

Required Skill-set

  • Qualifications: Previous successful and currently operating installations of shopping carts (integrated with Moodle)
  • While hesitant, we are open to solutions that may or may not include Virtuemart. We will use whatever works reliably and efficiently, e.g. Amember. If you want us to move away from Virtuemart, please be prepared to provide a fixed quote for installation.
  • For the ongoing maintenance contract, please send minimum acceptable hourly fee and availability
