Job offered: Experienced Moodle Developer/Consultant Required - Freelance/Short Term Contract

We are a UK Digital Media Agency with extensive experience of creating rich media learning solutions to the corporate and public sector market.

As part of a larger project we require an experienced Moodle expert with the ability to advise, manage, customise, develop and deploy a platform based on this specific project needs.

The role requires both programming/development experience as well as consultative skills to ensure the creation of a finished client facing product.

This is a short term contract with immediate/ASAP start.

Requirements and Experience:

  • An in-depth understanding of Moodle capabilities with main focus on delivering SCORM based content (role is Moodle only and not content development)
  • Experience in the development and enhancement of Moodle features
  • To work from a project scope to accurately identify and action the work required to meet the project requirements
  • To work independently but confidently communicate progress throughout the project
  • To assist in the creation of supporting documentation based on specific Moodle instance

Important Notes:

  • Candidate must have 'end-to-end' experience in delivering a Moodle solution.  i.e. from taking original code, then through customisation and development delivering a finished professional project.
  • Role is remote based but preferred candidate to be located in West Midlands/Midlands area, alternatively London based will also be considered (preference is based on ease of meeting face-to-face when required).
  • Evidence of experience, ability and references are essential and are taken above formal qualifications
