Moodle jobs

CMU is seeking interested persons for Moodle course development.   This is a contract position. 

CMU is seeking course developers.   You will be provided a Moodle (template) shell with uploaded materials in the file section of the shell.   Materials consist of power points, videos, discussion forum questions, quizzes using heroku.com for easy upload and weekly lesson materials.  You will be asked to set up the grade book in moodle using categories with points and TURNITIN assignments.  In the near future, we hope to use Adobe Activate and it would be a benefit if you are familiar with this program.  Some people can build the course in 2 hours and others it may take as long as 4 hours.   For this reason, CMU will pay a flat fee of $100.00 per course.  Our seasoned course developers are now building these courses in approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. 

Interested parties should send their resume with experience (see below list) to Tami Barker in Student Services at tbarker@calmu.edu.  Please provide us with  any experience of the following items in Moodle (it is not necessary to be proficient in each or all areas – we just want a general idea:

1. Creating Quizzes (Question Creation or heroku.com? )
2. Blog
3. Wiki
4. Journal
5. Certificates (creating them and applying them)
6. Chat
7. Face to Face
8. Games – 
9. Flashcard Set
10. Forums (how do you set up your discussion forums and advanced forums?)
11. Whiteboard
12. SLOODLE
