As our Learning Technologist, you will launch and run our pilot virtual learning environment (VLE) – a minimal viable product Moodle.

We have a three month contract opportunity for a Learning Technologist to join the team at Livity – working on our UK-wide youth programme, somewhereto_. Funded by BIG, somewhereto_ unlocks space for 16-25 years olds across the UK. 

The role involves set-up and maintenance of the VLE, using the open source software, Moodle, and all other e-learning systems. This includes spearheading the development of our online badges, backed by Mozilla and identified by the Harvard Business Review as a key innovative trend to watch out for – there is plenty of opportunity to drive new and innovative initiatives for young people on a non-traditional learning journey in this role.

You will work closely with not only the somewhereto_ team, but also our Head of Learning, our in-house production and creative teams, as well as our regional partners delivering somewhereto_ across the UK.
