Role purpose

Working closely with the Learning Technology Manager and Product Managers, the Instructional Designer will use their expert understanding of learning design, their knowledge of educational principles and their experience applying e-learning models to lead on the development of innovative online learning at Floream.

They will work across a range of qualifications, programmes and open-access courses, collaborating with teaching and technical teams to ensure the delivery of quality distance education with the latest technology and help provide the best possible online service to students.

You, as a professional and expert, would be expected to suggest multiple ways to solve problems and clearly communicate advantages and disadvantages of differing approaches to technical and non technical audiences. You will work with management to identify risks to product quality and risks to deadlines. You, as a technological evangelist, would be capable of taking the initiative on R&D for new technologies and approaches.
