Job offered: VLE developer

We are an education charity whose ethos is to change lives through vocational education.  A vacancy has arisen for a VLE developer who can perform the following duties:-

  • produce high quality and engaging online content to be delivered via CVQO's Moodle Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).

  • create template Moodle courses for all new delivery through the VLE

  • maintain of required links between Moodle courses and CVQO's student records database.

  • provide support to CVQO's Curriculum Managers in the implementation of online courses.

  • ensure content meets relevant browser requirements and accessibility guidelines.

  • review new Moodle releases, their impact on CVQO's installation and liaise with CVQO's technical support supplier regarding live implementation.

  • provide support to VLE users as required.

We are looking for candidates who are educated to degree level (ideally in IT/Computing) and who have experience of working in a VLE environment.
