Senior e-Learning Technician (22.5 hours to 37.5 hours – to be agreed with successful candidate) – fixed term contract for five years £26,041 to £34,876 (pro-rata as applicable)

The Christie School of Oncology continues to develop and enhance its portfolio of technology enhanced learning to deliver education and events that support improvements in cancer care across the globe. We have ambitious plans for the future, building on our current portfolio of programmes, the success of ChristieEducationLive! and our expansion into international markets. We are looking for a talented individual who is passionate about technology and determined to make a difference to the education of cancer care professionals through the use of educationally innovative learning.

The successful candidate will be experienced in the production of e-learning resources which are engaging and enhance the online learning experience, as well as evaluating and implementing emerging technologies.

This role will support the development, implementation and continual improvement of technology enhanced learning, including the administration, support and promotion of the School’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). You should have experience and knowledge of Virtual Learning Environments and an understanding of methods of teaching and delivery. You should have experience of creating learning content and materials, excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing a high quality service.
