You will take a proactive role in promoting and supporting technology-enhanced learning across the institution. Joining a team of Learning Technologists, you will be responsible for developing and promoting high quality technology-enhanced learning resources (e.g. interactive resources, summative and formative quizzes, screen-capture tutorials, etc.), for use within the University’s virtual learning environment Moodle, in collaboration with colleagues from the Academic Development Unit and across the institution. Your role will include: facilitating training sessions on the use of technology-enhanced learning to staff and students; researching and evaluating effective use of learning technologies; evaluating and monitoring performance of technology-enhanced learning systems and providing expertise on specific learning technological software packages.

You will have a relevant degree, or equivalent qualification, and be able to demonstrate a high commitment to a learner-focused service as well as having a flexible and multi-skilled approach. You will have previous experience of using a virtual learning environment and knowledge of the pedagogic uses of technology-enhanced learning.

This post is being offered as a full time permanent contract.
