Do you have proven experience of successfully managing the development of innovative digital tools and exciting learning experiences, with a passion and drive for implementing learning technology?

The Technology Enhanced Learning team at The Open University has vacancies for Product Development Managers to work on projects in Moodle online assessment, user experience (UX) design and learning innovation. These are varied positions, and you will be working as part of an energetic and talented team of Technical Developers, Designers and other media production staff. You will be responsible for managing projects from inception to mainstream use to improve the student experience. You will focus on managing the research, design and implementation of new and improved tools in our digital learning environments, alongside experimental prototyping and testing. You must be creative and versatile with an excellent understanding of multimedia and digital learning, and a passion for creating great user experiences.

The Technology Enhanced Learning team is responsible for building and maintaining the Open University’s learning systems. It offers a place to support new ideas and acts as a catalyst for promoting a culture of innovation in the wider university. Its objective is to create excellent digital learning experiences and enable students to realise their goals.
