An opportunity exists at the Centre for Macquarie English (CME) at Macquarie University , Sydney, for a qualified and experienced Elearning Developer for content development related to the field of English Language teaching, Moodle site administration, and teacher & student training. The appointment will be on a

5 day per week basis and includes a 6 month probationary period.

Essential Criteria:

• A recognised qualification in elearning (or nearing completion)
• Experience in the development and use of interactive e-learning content using a range of activities, media and online teaching tools.
• Minimum 2 years experience using MOODLE (or similar) for educational purposes.
• Experience training others in the use of software
• Experience solving technical problems encountered by staff using software programs
• Strong HTML skills.
• Ability to operate with minimal supervision
• Ability to complete tasks to deadline
• Ability to work as a member of an elearning team
• Excellent communication skills (including Intercultural awareness)

Desirable criteria:

• Experience in English language teaching and/or field specific university preparation programs;
• PHP programming skills are an advantage;
