A start-up online classrooms needs to contract a Moodle Instructor & Tech Support. The position will maintain our Moodle site, provide Moodle support for and teach Moodle to students, teachers and staff. The experienced Moodle individual will help with the technical aspects of Moodle online classrooms and administration. This individual will be working with various users and needs strong interpersonal and communication skills.

We will pay the equivalent of an adjunct teaching 3 courses online.

Key areas of responsibility:
  • Promptly and professionally responds to students, faculty and administrators requests for support.
  • Addresses advanced service issues involving Moodle.
  • Performs maintenance when needed.

Skills, knowledge and abilities

Extensive knowledge of Moodle; experience using or supporting Moodle

  • Ability to troubleshoot advanced issues using available resources
  • Ability to professionally communicate with students, faculty and staff via email or phone
  • Advance level of expertise with Moodle administration.
