Job Description
Corporate Academy currently seeking an Instructional Designer. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Position Summary:
Experienced instructional designer to design and create adult learning experiences related to Induction, Business Processes & Commercial courses.

Essential Job Functions:
The instructional designer develops the learning structure and ensures all activities and content successfully delivers desired business, performance and learning outcomes of each course. The instructional designer will develop all courses as per GCA learning best practices to ensure uniform standards in all courses. The instructional designer is also responsible for relevant assessment and a matching grading rubric. The instructional designer will also develop the course Facilitation Manual, to reflect and further support course learning activities and outcomes. The instructional designer should be mindful of the following principles in ensuring the right treatment of content. Ensure that all learning solutions are inline with our business strategies and can be measured to show return on investment.

Job Requirements:
Proven competency in instructional design with expertise in the development of social constructivism online learning and blended learning. Strong project management skills applied in a business/corporate environment. Experience in all phases of the instructional design process. 3-5 years of experience designing for new product training. Knowledge of authoring tools, usability and functionality testing methods, as well as course and learner evaluation methodology. Experience in curriculum design, content development and training best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience using MOODLE LMS and other web technologies a plus. Ability to work well with others with a GTD attitude.

Position Class:
Project based, Part-Time, Contract Based.

Person:
We are seeking an ID who can help us create learning experiences. We don't do unnecessary fancy effects or cliched music montages to teach.

We teach via story-telling as much as possible. Through building experiences and sharing new ones. We have found that simple learning experiences are often the best ones.

Location:
Main office is in Dubai
ID can be anywhere, with regular travels to Dubai office.
