We require a skilled eLearning Technician to support the eLearning Advisor and the Learning Technologist.

Duties will include administering our Learning Management System, which includes maintaining site settings, reporting on system usage, working on problem resolution and upgrades, assisting staff in preparing and loading course materials and providing help desk support and introductory training for users.

You will also provide support in the use of other educational technologies and tools used at EIT.

The ideal applicant will:

• Have experience with administering web-based systems
• Have ability to analyse system usage and suggest improvements, in technology or processes
• Be skilled in assisting others to use common software and technology tools
• Be able to develop support materials to a high standard.
• Have effective interpersonal communication skills for dealing with diverse audiences, including faculty, students, technologists and other support personnel
• Be aware of learning management systems such as Moodle and Blackboard,
• Have proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications
• Hold a tertiary education qualification (or equivalent experience) in IT or a related field.
