CMU is seeking Curriculum Designers to develop learning modules in 8 week formats (course materials to be retreived from publishers (McGraw Hill and Pearson) for the following courses:  See Catalogue

Master of Science in Strategic Leadership (MSSL):  PHD required

These courses involve 8 week lesson plans, Key Terms, Tests, Power Points developed into MS Word 2007 format.  The estimated time of creation for each course is expected to be 2 to 4 hours based on experience.  This will be an ongoing position; because CMU updates the course modules every 6 to 12 months and there over 200+ courses.  CMU will be seeking to hiring several Curriculum Designers to fill the need.

This position can be performed locally or remotely.  This is a contract position.

You must possess the required degree to create curriculum.

Technology Requirements:  It will be necessary to have a computer and preferably a back up computer.  In addition, access to the publisher's websites: Mc Graw Hill and Pearson.

Preferred Qualifications:  CMU is seeking candidates who are specifically experienced with the use and navigation of the Textbook Publishers websites along with curriculum design.

1.  What textbook publishers do you have experience with?  How many years?  What aspects of their websites are you most familiar with?

2.  Have you downloaded test questions from a textbook publisher's website and saved the test in a Moodle format?

3.  Have you built curriculum based on a textbook edition versus a subject matter?  Have you built curriculum directly from the publisher's website?

4.  Are you familiar with online learning platforms; such as, Moodle, Blackboard, Ecollege?     Which ones are you most familiar with?
