Due to continued expansion, an opportunity has now arisen for a Technician/Web Developer to join our team.

Based at our UK headquarters in Keighley, West Yorkshire, this challenging role provides the successful applicant with the opportunity to make a real impact on the success of the business and to gain valuable experience.

The technician/web developer is responsible for supporting customers as well as completing minor software change requests.

The technician/web developer will work as part of a vibrant, innovative team within the secondary and international division. They will be responsible for inbound and outbound telephone calls regarding technical support queries, logging and resolving support issues, helping customers with the use of software, demonstrating best practice to customers, reporting and helping to resolve software bugs, trouble shooting and ensuring that all deliverables are fulfilled on-time and within the customers expectations.

They will also be responsible for administering the company CRM and demonstrating good internal and external communication.

Responsible to: Production and Delivery manager

Key Responsibilities

Managing the customer experience from point of sale to completion and beyond.
Demonstrating a high level of customer service, putting the client’s needs first.
Ensuring that the client records on company computer system are accurate and entered in a timely manner.
Responding to any customer issues or complaints by liaising with other departments and your manager.
Demonstrating a proactive approach to potential problems, acting quickly to resolve them.
Establishing & maintaining good working relationships with the team and other departments.
Ensuring that all internal staff receive the relevant documentation regarding clients and are kept fully informed of all relevant aspects of the client.
Ensuring client satisfaction by providing high quality back up cover to other team members.
Working towards hitting team and division targets.
Attending arranged training sessions and demonstrating constructive learning

Qualifications:

A degree or equivalent in an ICT related qualification
A basic understanding of HTML, CSS and PHP.

General skills required:

Good communication skills with colleagues and clients
Demonstrate effective team work in order to complete tasks
Works efficiently under pressure
Appropriate telephone manner
Is able to work using own initiative
Client focused, the outcome should always be in the client’s best interests

Desirable:

Experience of using Moodle VLE
Understanding of Linux based systems
Previous experience of working in similar environment
Previous experience of working on a help desk in accordance with service level agreements
Understanding of active directory

The Package:

Salary negotiable to £18k (plus bonus)
Full time, permanent position
