WelTec (Wellington Institute of Technology) has been a leader in technical and trades education for over 100 years and offers over 200 specialist programmes in Business Management and Administration, Health Services, Hospitality, Travel and Tourism, Carpentry and the Built Environment, Construction and Related Trades, Creative Technology, Engineering,  Automotive, and Information Technology.

Applications are invited for an enthusiastic Moodle trainer to join our  Education Technology Team.  The team is located within the Academic Services and Policy Division of the Institute and is key to the successful implementation of the Moodle Learning Management System.

 

In this role, you will design and deliver training for staff and students who are new to the Moodle learning management system.  You will work with staff from all WelTec campuses so limited travel may be involved.  You will also help to transition courses from our existing LMS to Moodle.

 

If you are a trainer with a demonstrated successful track record, who is organised, energetic, and an effective communicator then we want to hear from you.  You should be familiar with the Moodle 2 environment and interface, and have a sound understanding of the principles of quality design for adult education.
