We are looking for Perth-based developers to work with us as part of the development team at Pukunui.

Pukunui is the leading education solutions provider in the Asia Pacific. We operate as a fully featured service and support partner for our many clients providing a wide range of tailored solutions to meet specific outcomes and objectives.

Your work will include a range of PHP-based tasks ranging from fixing reported bugs, to participating in architectural design and interacting with a fun international developer and user community. 

Salary is negotiable depending on your experience and potential. You must have permanent residency status/be eligible to reside/work in Australia on a permanent basis and live in Perth already (no relocation and/or sponsorship assistance provided).

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Write quality PHP code conforming to Moodle guidelines
• Unit testing
• Reviewing peer code
• Investigate and resolve bugs
• Participate in planning and design sessions (online and offline)
• Escalate issues when appropriate
• Provide adhoc technical support to clients as required

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
• Minimum 2 years experience working in a development environment
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent commercial experience
• Ability to operate with minimal supervision
• Ability to complete tasks to deadline
• Ability to work as a member of a team
• Good communication and customer relation skills

TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Strong PHP programming skills
• Strong SQL skills
• Reasonable knowledge of XHTML Strict 1.0 and CSS
• Reasonable knowledge of Javascript and AJAX
