We are looking for an Senior Developer, Full time 12 month contract position with an option of ongoing employment, based in Melbourne.

This role is responsible for the provision of technical development and support across eCreators products and services.

The successful applicant will have relevant experience and qualifications in the following areas:

• Demonstrable experience on LAMP/LEMP stack

• Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming

• Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds

• Demonstrable skills with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX

• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks

• Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP

• Understanding of MVC design patterns

• Exposure to Responsive Web design

• Experience in Agile project development

• GIT repository, release management & CI/CD experience is necessary

• Knowledge of MySQL/RDS databases and their declarative query languages

Professional Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of programming experience in a medium to large scale development environment.

• The capacity to provide well-structured, tested and optimised code Experience with Git or any other versioning system;

• Good knowledge of web application security, performance and scalability.

• Good planning (time management) and analysis skills;

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

• Able to manage a remote team, mentor fellow team members.

Advantages:
