Solutions Engineer

• Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience
• Contract: Permanent

This is a new role based at Brighton, the key responsibilities of the successful candidate will be:

Designing and implementing data channels between client platforms and LMS. For example, identifying sources for user information and authentication in an organisation and detailing how the LMS will receive data from these platforms.

Implementing custom server configuration for specific client needs, including security enhancement.

Developing server infrastructure including improvements to operating systems, security, resilience, logging and automated alerts.

Testing of custom developments for quality assurance purposes. Being able to report problems in detail to developer.

Qualifications and experience: 
- Must have strong understanding of infrastructure technologies including HR systems, LDAP/Active Directory, SAML/ADFS.
- Must have working knowledge of GIT code management.
- Must have strong UNIX skills, including installation and configuration.
- Must have working knowledge of computer networking and security.
- Must have Moodle or Totara LMS experience.
- Should have experience working with user/employee records.
