Online mathematics assessment could help improve the mathematics performance of deaf and hard-of-hearing learners in South Africa. This is one of the key findings of a new study at Stellenbosch University. The quiz module in Moodle was used to test learners' understanding of mathematical functions which are crucial in our everyday lives.
