Moodle sudden freeze on IE 6.0 and 7.0

Hi to all !

well a strange problem :

Having Moodle 1.5.4 on a double Opteron (2-double XeoN) with 4G RAM...

As i'm working (especially when editing labels or doing some admin stuff) the screen suddenly freezes (as in timeout and by reloading does nothing) and I have to close the Explorer window and start a new one to start Moodle again and login..

I did everything I could in MySQL DB (Optimization Tables, Maintenance, etc) but I think that has to do with cookies or sessions - seeskeys ? (since by reopening a new Eplorer Window, I can load the first page and work again)..

Any ideas on what I can do ?? do I have to tune somehow the php.ini ? all session times are increased...

Thanx,

Vassilis

The freezing of your browser may not be connected to Moodle at all. Moodle runs on the server, browser on the client.

A browser may freeze for a short time, if the server sends a *huge* webpage for example. But completely freezing is unusual. OK, there are malware which are capable of that, hopefully Moodle doesn't come with such nasty things ;-(
