The most important think I have ever learnt in my life is just to "listen". Most people think they already do, so did I, but most of the time we are just "hearing". To listen is to think about what others say, being able to change our own thinking. That is really important.

The most important thing to succeed in business is to listen to the customer. They are realising nowadays that this is the best way to manage a company and the best marketing strategy, also.

The best pedagogical theories in education, such as constructivism, just say that we have to listen to what the student knows, and then help him to improve his knowledge.

The less bad political organization today, called democracy, is based on listening to the people and leting them choose who is going to rule the government.

The most important method for acting, proposed by Stanislavsky, is a whole process that starts just by listening to everything. It is used by all the actors from the Actor's Studio, many of them being Hollywood stars.

Psychology is the art of solving problems by listening to the people and understanding them.

To feel happy it is important to listen to ourselves, to our feelings and thinkings and also to listen to others.

I am very proud to be part of a listening community like this one. Honest. smile
