I have 3 courses which I would like to combine.
What is currently happening is all of the section 1 materials from all three courses is going into section 1, similarly for section 2, 3 and so on.
Is there a way to restore underneath an existing course?
In other words, if course 1 stops at section 8 then the next course restored can appear in section 9 onwards.
Probably the best way is if using 1.5.2 is to Import Course Data from the Admin menu in the actual course. Then use move to fine tune placement of the files etc.

I never noticed that option before! I am using 1.5.2 so restored the course data as suggested but that had the same effect (IE mixing the courses rather than appending the new course). Perhaps I did something wrong?
I've just had an Idea! I could insert the required number of weeks at the top of the target course - that might do it.

Adding the extra weeks and then importing helped a lot although obviously time consuming moving all of those weeks about in preparation (please don't tell me there was an easier way!)
