I've been brushing up my rusty Greasemonkey skills and here is the result: moodle_tracker_info.user.js. The script will display the title of any linked tracker id as a tooltip as Tim suggested (see screenshot).

I've updated the Greasemonkey script because it was broken due to some Firefox update. It should work with current versions of Firefox now.
