Looking at the CSS, I'm guessing a lot of trial and error testing went into this. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to trying it out.

Well, my initial guess is that this is a server or installation issue, and is unrelated to themes since all themes produce the same behavior.
Perhaps a load issue?

Hello Helen,
I have unhidden the two themes that weren't GNU and reworded some of my descriptions to make them more GNU friendly. I don't have a problem offering them as such.
I will be working on getting more of my themes into CVS this summer when I have more time to work on such things.
Also, that took out a lot of themes, and imagine it will now be pretty confusing to approve future themes. How long will we keep them hidden before completely getting rid of them?

Here's my opinion (even though I know you didn't ask for it):
Why take away a potential benefit of having personalized userpics from all students just because a few have abused the system. Why not, instead, punish those few who have abused the system? Surely, once word got around that this was unacceptable, the incidence would slow down. Right?
Also, I know of no implementation of what you're asking for to share. Perhaps others can help out more.

Do not feel limited by styles that are missing from the stylesheets. The theme developer who created the theme you're using obviously didn't see a need to style that element. Go ahead and add the style that you would like.
