Hmmm... I am sitting here working on a database assignment and it strikes me that it looks a little bit like a WebQuest. Maybe all we need is a WebQuest template for the database module?

Hmmm... I think that you might want to explore activity locking. Take a look at this entry in the docs wiki and see if it is what you need - http://docs.moodle.org/en/Activity_Locking

You are right, but I have noticed that this does not work for me in some browsers (like Firefox 1.5). Or maybe it's just my setup.
