Latest development in EU tech dependencies, apparently the ICC is dependent on US email providers. Under these circumstances, the White House can severely disrupt the ICC's activities with the stroke of a pen, no reasoning or judicial precedent necessary. Here's some arguments I wrote about how the English language teaching publishing sector is in need of reform. It may well resonate with people who use commercial publisher coursebooks in other sectors too - I'd love to know if my sector's unique or if there are parallels in others.

P.S. Obviously, I think Open Education & OER's are probably the most likely avenue to push for reform, i.e. commercial publishers would have to find ingenious ways to compete with all the benefits & flexibility of OERs.
