Installing a Scorm Zip File

Installing a Scorm Zip File

Hi Everyone

I have been informed that the reason why our e-learning courses are running so slowley is because they are uploaded in Scorm/AICC as a Zip file and that I could unzip the file.

I have tried unzipping the file however I do not now know which file to 'choose' in order to have the course running.  I was also told to install a scorm wrapped course but I really do not know what this means.

Also I am having a problem with scorm packages not recording results therefore I am creating seperate quizzes for those people who are not able to retreave a certificate to try again - not ideal but I can not see a way around this, can anyone help?

Take care

Clare

that doesn't sound quite right.

when you create a SCORM inside your moodle and point it at a zip - it extracts the zip "behind the scenes" and uses the extracted files when students view the SCORM. - unless you've configured SCORM in the settings page "auto update frequency" to every time it is viewed. - this setting should probably be set to "never" - unless you know what the setting does and want it to update based on an externally hosted zip.

you haven't provided enough information for us to help.
