Is the information on the Development:Grades documentation http://docs.moodle.org/en/Development:Grades accurate and up to date? There is a big warning at the top of the spec saying:
"This article is a design document which is no longer in use, the code it describes having been written and added to the Moodle codebase, or simply considered then abandoned. The information it contains is likely to be out of date, especially API and Database Schema specifications.
What does this message mean? Is this spec out of date? Does it accurately describe how Grades work in 1.9?
Is there some other documentation that describes how the Grades architecture in Moodle works, the gradebook tables, how each table is used and what data is stored in it?
