Archaius

Important!

Sadly, I don't have time to work actively on the project, I can answer questions, but I am not going to develop any major change. If you want to contribute as developer I can help you to get started with the project. Just ping me.

Thanks a lot to Barbara Ramiro and David for their suggestions, I will try to improve everything you said.

Moodle 3.2

I have received several emails asking why Archaius doesn't work on Moodle 3.2. The quick answer is: it does. you just have to install the base theme (https://moodle.org/plugins/theme_base), I think I am going to remove that dependency to avoid problems in the future.

Best regards,

Daniel

    Thnx Daniel; when you have a test version ready please send me a pm (when possible)

    ps: I also had issues with the radio buttons, for that I have added:
    .mform .fgroup > span {
    display: inline-block;
    margin-top: 5px;
    }

    And the tabs (preview, edit, reports, grade essays) are not shown correctly.

    Hi Daniel, may I know whether there is any way to have different colors for header and footer? Great plugin by the way!

    Thank you in advance!

    Hi Daniel,

    First of all, you have created a very good featured/functional theme that looks good and is very easy to customise with CSS. Thank you for the contribution to the Moodle community.

    I would just like to know what your plans are to make your theme compatible with Moodle 3.1. There are many Moodle admins that would love to upgrade their sites, but they cannot due to the theme holding them back.

    Looking forward to your updates. Once again, GREAT job!!

    Hi Giovanni,

    Thanks for your kind words, It is sad to hear my theme is a problem for some people to upgrade to Moodle 3.1.

    I haven't upgraded my theme, because I decided to make a huge change, so, I am working on it. I want to finish the update before a presentation I am going to make in MoodleMoot Colombia (August 29th), I hope I can finish by then.

    As a more personal comment because I have received a lot of messages about this:

    I am doing what I can to try to finish my updates, but, this is not my job, I didn't get paid for it. Every hour I work on this project is an hour that my actual contractor is not going to pay me. I am building a personal project, so, I need to work more 'paid hours' to earn money to finish it.

    DESPITE ALL OF THIS , THIS IS WHAT I HAVE DONE:

    http://quick.as/qzarfnbgb => it is a really bad video but gives a hint about what I am building.

    ANOTHER OPTION:

    If you really need my theme real quick for Moodle 3.1, feel free to fork my github repo and make the changes you need:

    https://github.com/dmuneras/moodle-theme_archaius

    Best regards and sorry for the inconvenience I am causing,
    Daniel.

    Hi!

    I have a very simple question that I hope you'll be able to help me with. Is there anyway to change the width of the navigation pane in the theme? As it is now, some of my course titles are getting cut off...I've tried configuring the trim settings in the block, but so far that hasn't helped.

    Thanks!

    Hi Kimmely!!

    Sadly, in the current version of the theme the left and right sections of the layout have a fix width (200px). Fortunately, I have been working on that improvement since last week.

    Best regards,
    Daniel.

    Hola Daniel, buenas noches:

    Tengo instalado este estupendo theme en un Moodle 3.1+ y me aparece un problema a la hora de acceder a evaluar las "tareas" de forma que la altura del div es de tan sólo 15px. Llevo ya un par de horas localizando el CSS pero no hay forma.

    Alguien se ha encontrado un problema similar? Cual es el parámetro que hay que modificar y en qué archivo css se encuentra?

    Eu alterei no próprio campo do tema ADVANCE, moodle/admin/settings.php?section=theme_archaius_developer
    Alterei a DIV REGION-PRE
    #region-pre ul li{
    font-size: 0.94em;
    margin-left: -4px !important;
    width: 151px !important;
    }
    Você pode alterar estes ou outros parâmetros para ficar de acordo com seu idioma.

    Hello,
    Are you planning to update your chart theme for Moodle 3.3?
    There is a lot of interest in this theme.
    Thank you

    Hola a todos estoy teniendo problemas con las imágenes que se muestran en los menús desplegables, ya que las "flkechas" se quedan al centro y no encuentro el CSS para modificarlos, estan son las líneas que busco .course_category_tree .category>.info>.categoryname {
    background-image: url(/diplomado/theme/image.php/archaius/core/1501037125/t/collapsed_empty);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-position: center;
    margin: .5em 5px;
    }

    Alguien que pueda apoyarme por favor, ya que llevo tiempo buscándolos y no los encuentro, por cierto muchas gracias Dany por este Tema me encanta y tengo años usandolo, de hecho actualmente esta en Moodle 3.3,

    Gracias

    Hola Yazmin!

    Estoy casi seguro que ese css no es del tema gráfico como tal, sino que lo hereda del tema base. La recomendación que te doy es utilizar la opción custom_css de Archaius para sobre escribir esos estilos.

    La verdad necesito más contexto para saber que pasa, una imagen o algo, pero si lo que necesitas es modificar esos estilos lo puedes hacer en esa opción: en el bloque de administración del sitio ingresas a: `apariencia/temas/archaius/opciones avanzadas` (algo así, hace mucho no lo utilizo :P), ahí esta la opción.

    Ahí puedes poner lo que quieras:

    .course_category_tree .category>.info>.categoryname{
    background-position: left; /* si es la imagen la que quieres mover*/
    }

    Por otro lado, yo creo que el problema que estas teniendo es relacionado con unas actualizaciones gráficas que le hicieron a moodle 3.2, si no estoy mal, todos los iconos de archaius estan mal alineados desde la versión 3.1 hacía arriba. Intentaré sacar un tiempo para actualizar y al menos arreglar esos pequeños problemas, pero me me comprometo.

    Daniel.
