Just to say that this looks similar to, but different from, the OU's question type https://moodle.org/plugins/view.php?plugin=qtype_pmatchjme. They probably both have their place.

Hi Fredrik,
I was translating your 'structure match with editor' add-on in AMOS and I think I found a tiny typo in one English language string:

2.6 [pluginnamesummary,qtype_fwstructmatch]
Allows a response of a drawn chemical structure that is graded by comparing against various model answers, with our without stereochemistry.

I think that 'with our without stereochemistry.' should be 'with or without stereochemistry.'
