please open a new GitHub Ticket on https://github.com/WaetzigS/local_whatsappgen/issues . Send all the screenshots, Moodle-Version, Plugin-Versions, etc. After I can try to reproduce and solve it.

Thank you for your comment. Please follow the instructions in the readme-file carefully. If this does not work, please create a ticket in GitHub with a detailed and productive description.
Please also note that if you encounter problems with JavaScript when opening the participant list, the trigger won't load. I am currently working on this, but at the moment I do not have a good idea or the resources to render it without JavaScript.

I installed as indicated.
However, the WhatsApp logo does not appear when I select the students in the participants list.
Moodle 4.5 with Edwiser RemUI Version 4.5.3
I have a teacher role.
Click on student.
