Teaser! The master branch has some REALLY interesting stuff in it. Little things like Required Phrases in each prompt, plus other stuff to go along with it. (Slapped fingers away from the keyboard! LOL)

I am so sorry that it is not going smoothly for you. Was there any other info available? It will be temporarily slow for me to do any testing due to moving from one Domain Name Registrar to another making it difficult for me to do any "reliable" trouble-shooting. It would help if you could start a new issue on the github account you reach when you click the link above for Source Control URL. That way, you can show pictures and maybe a Debug Listing.

I get a popup with "sorry the requested file could not be found" when I create an entry with both the 400 and 401version.

Hi Dr. Deutsch,
Have you tried the Diary v4.0.1 branch from the github source control URL? I am still doing some testing before release and email is one of the items needing to be tested. I am in the middle of moving the DNS account for my development site and expect it to be two or three days before I can (hopefully) test email. I do have a demo site that the email works on, but the Moodle is only 4.5.&+ I think. That site is not hosted internally and the Internet provider has dropped native Moodle support and limits my account to about 260K file names. Moodle has gotten so big in file count that I have had to scale back what I can run on that provider.

Hi Dr. Nellie Deutsch - I am doing much better and thanks so much for confirming Diary seems to be working for you on Moodle 5.1.1. I have been very busy over the past few days catching up with all the maintenance work I have been putting off for a good part of this year. I hope to get back on Diary code development next week. I was working on the "email notifications," right away that you inquired about last fall, when my health problems intruded while I was testing the code. I hope I can finish it, soon.

H Ligia, If my memory is correct, yes that message is disabled if the Diary is not being rated. At least I know it does not show up on the one I have set up for site wide use as a site wide diary for every user. Right now I am on a health sabbatical and it will be a few days before I can dig in to see exactly what does and does not make that message appear.

Hi AL, is it possible to use Diary without the necessity to the professor/tutor to accept or give a feedback to the student entries?
An automatic message is showing to the student, indicating that a tutor needs to provide feedback on the entry. Is it possible to remove this message? The message is "This entry has not been given feedback or rated yet.".
I want to use the Diary just for the student to do their notes.

Yes, there will be one and I was literally working on it when I saw your inquiry. I think I am going to double check to make sure, and see if the current version works for Moodle 5.0, and update the current version as being Moodle 5 compatible. I have so many changes to the actual next upcoming release version, and two of those changes are giving me fits and slowing me down.
