I did see a similar problem on one of my sites. Do you have debugging turned on for that site? I think there is a PHP deprecation message that was interfering with the task. Disabling debugging allowed the task to complete.

by Dr. Nellie Deutsch.

Hi, I'm on a Moodle 5.2 new install. I keep getting:
"The task Download available H5P content types from h5p.org has failed multiple times and requires attention". I have older Moodle 5.2 sites where H5P is not failing. How do I fix this one? Is there a bug with the new Moodle installations and connecting the H5P library? Thank you for your help.

This is a free plugin that can be installed if you have access to a Moodle instance. Questions can then be used on that site or exported and imported to another. So your content is free to use as you want. There are additional features that are available on moodle.openlearner.org (more content and questions types). You can use those features on that site and export the results to use on your own sites free. Eventually features there may be released, but work is currently unfunded so it will not necessarily happen soon.

But, unfortunately, when I go to the content bank to create a H5P activity, I cannot click add, as it appears in the webpage's video that you recommended me, because it says "No content types available". So I still don't know how to add them.
Sorry for the trouble.

by Daniel Thies.

There are two different H5P activities. The documentation on h5p.org only applies to https://moodle.org/plugins/mod_hvp (icon with black background). If you are using the activity included with Moodle 3.9 (blue background), then you need to follow the moodle.org H5P documentation.

by Ana Belén Ginés Morales.

@Daniel, my problem is that when I create an H5p activity, I can't see the "Select content type" as appears in this webpage https://h5p.org/installation. And if I go to site administrations, plugins I can´t download it or add other content because I don't have Instal plugins as this web page say: https://h5p.org/moodle
Besides, I went to the page you sent me and there is not explanation for it, or at least I didn't see it.
Thanks in advance, again!

Thanks in advance

The general H5P forum https://moodle.org/mod/forum/view.php?id=8603 is a good place to look for answers.
