Face-to-face activities are used to keep track of in-person (e.g. classroom) trainings which require advance booking.

Each activity is offered in one or more identical sessions. These sessions can be given over multiple days.

Reminder messages are sent to users and their managers a few days before the session is scheduled to start. Confirmation messages are sent when users sign-up for a session or cancel.

This module may be of interest to administrators looking for a way to provide event management support for blended learning environments.

by Robert Sack.

Hi and thank you for this great plugin!
I would like to know if someone knows a way to read out the data for the next (upcoming) session for a given face2face instance.

The wish is to place an advertisement anywhere on the moodle site for the next course/session for ... with the correct dates out of the face2face plugin

Thank you in advance!

by James Todd.

Hi.. I've upgraded our site to the latest moodle and F2F plugin. The pages and emails are displaying the variables instead of the words.
attendees bookings room venue and so on.
This is happening site wide.
I upgraded all of our sites but not the face to face plugin on the others, the other sites are fine. Same theme same version, just F2F is the last version on the ok sites.
I can't downgrade the plugin, any other advice would be great.
I have a post on the plugin forum but no one has answered.
When i edit the settings of a Face to Face Activity, i only get the editor (tested with tinyMCE, Atto and simple text) appears only in the field for the Confirmationmessage, not for any of the other messages. Do you have an idea why that is? is this an intended behaviour, something where we need to change some settings, or should a submit a bug to the tracker?
Cheers!

by Melanie Scott.

So...I found something odd that impacts 4.x...it doesn't stop it from working but it definitely isn't optimal. In 4.x (my case is 4.02 but I'll be updating to 4.1.x at some point soon...or maybe 4.2 if it takes long enough), activities have a passing grade requirement option in the settings. I was excited about this as I set a passing grade manually in the gradebook. But the activity settings do not have a grade are. If you check the must receive a passing grade, you receive an immediate message, "This activity does not have a valid grade to pass set. It may be set in the Grade section of the activity settings. " in red. This creates a conundrum for me. I can't set the grades section but I want it to stop saying it is complete when people get a grade of 0. Any suggestions?
