I think you're right. We added that header a few days ago. I'll confirm that was the problem.

I think this is related to a change made in your end, our site checker tools say the following:

https://centros.edu.xunta.gal/eoideviveiro/aulavirtual information:
✅ The site is reachable
✅ The site SSL is valid
✅ The site has web services enabled
✅ The site is not in maintenance mode
🚨 (accesscontrolalloworigin) The site has Access-Control-Allow-Origin header is invalid, the app will not work, header content: Access-Control-Allow-Origin: https://www.full-steam-ahead.me
✅ The site forces CORS headers for WS (Access-Control-Allow-Origin)

Please, reach out to your IT team, because it seems that your site is returning that header preventing the app from working. I believe that header is set outside Moodle, maybe the web server or a proxy/firewall, you should not set that header in requests coming from the Moodle app (it has its own user agent, MoodleMobile, you can filter by that).

Hi Oscar - I appreciate your question is aimed at Juan, who may jump in with a better answer, but my understanding is that in order to use the mobile app, the organisation needs to have a 'premium app account', and there are 3 ways that you can get this:

You can pay a (what I think is reasonable) annual fee of 499 Euros per year
If you happen to be hosted by a Moodle partner or Moodle cloud it will be free
Certain organisations can apply to get this for free, e.g. charities, NGO that don't charge for courses etc. Note - standard schools, colleges, and universities are not eligible for this (which I believe you would fall under).

The fact that you self-host is no longer a factor in whether you get the app for free or not.
