Theme Bootswatch

Theme Bootswatch is child theme for Bootstrap3. It is build using the bootswatches created by Tomas Park (http://bootswatch.com)

Bootswatches are usually made from 2 files. One bootwatch.less file and one variables.less file. You can easily create your own bootswatch modifying one of these files or creating new ones yourself.

The benefit of Bootswatches is that you will probably not break anything in your theme when styling it using your fonts colours and sizing.

This is a Moodle 2.7 and newer theme only. It relies on Moodle creating css files form the Bootstrap, Moodle and Bootswatch less files.

After installing this theme go to your Bootswatch theme settings page and try your favorite Bootswatch.

If you find any bugs or issue, please us the Github page for this theme: https://github.com/bmbrands/moodle-theme_bootswatch.

Have fun!

I am able to select "Bootstrap 3" as the theme and it works correctly. Switching from that to "Bootswatch" results in no CSS (visually) and no error message at the screen itself. I am getting one weird PHP warning that might relate (it may as well be a bug in MUC there): "PHP Warning: mkdir(): File exists in lib/setuplib.php on line 1366".

Tomek Muras, one of our gorgeous Plugin guardians, performed a separate test of this and he was able to use the theme properly. So it must be some problem related to my local environment. I am going to approve this shiny theme now to give Bas a chance to receive feedback from the wider community. Good luck and thanks again for your continuous work on making Moodle look awesome! You are cleared to land now, welcome to the Plugins directory.

Woohoo! Thanks so much David smile

I am hoping for this to become the most fun and simple theme ever made for Moodle!

Same issue here - no CSS styles on the site. However /theme/styles.php?theme=bootswatch&rev=1417631745&type=all CSS is loaded fine and 170KB.

David, did you find the issue in your case?

    Hi Dmitriy,

Thanks for reporting your issue here!

I have just added a new version here on the plugin database and on Github that might fix the issue. If you could give it a test that would be awesome!

I am not sure if it will fix it, since I was not able to reproduce David's issue as well. So fingers crossed.

Thanks Bas for a quick response.
I've updated theme to the latest version from Github - 2014120300, but unfortunately still no styles: http://test.dev-a.refineddata.com/?theme=bootswatch

Found an issue - by some reason when I used "Install now" option, it didn't download "less" folders for both - bootswatch and bootstrap (dependency) themes.
I had to download these folders manually from Github and then it worked fine!

    Hi Dmitriy,

It looks like the less files were missing from both theme bootswatch and bootstrap. Entirely my mistake!

Thanks very much for reporting it here and please try the latest versions of booth the bootstrap and bootswatch theme. I have just upload new releases.

    Thanks!
